About Me
Award-Winning Filmmaker & On-Camera Storyteller

I’m a director, producer, and editor who also leads interviews and on-camera storytelling. I’m drawn to stories about real people and the impact they make. I work across documentary and branded content, focusing on emotional truth whether I’m behind the edit or sitting across from someone in conversation.
I earned my B.A. in Film and Video from Columbia College Chicago and began my career at the Chicago Tribune, where I helped produce their first sponsored video series. Since then, I’ve created work for WGN America, Antenna TV, and Newsy, developing documentaries, campaigns, and multi-platform content for broadcast, streaming, and digital audiences.
My debut feature documentary, The Call, explores the mental health crisis among firefighters and first responders and has received international festival recognition, including honors from the Cannes World Film Festival and multiple global documentary festivals. The project reflects my belief in video as a tool for connection, visibility, and meaningful dialogue.
In addition to directing and editing, I also lead documentary-style interviews and on-camera conversations, bringing the same narrative sensitivity and emotional intelligence to the lens as I do behind it.
Also, I develop narrative projects that examine moral tension and contemporary social realities, including the short screenplay That Cold Feeling, written in response to a moment of cultural urgency.
I currently serve as Creative Operations Manager at Informa Engage, leading a multidisciplinary creative team while continuing hands-on work in post-production and storytelling. I’m always interested in projects that balance craft, purpose, and collaboration.
Outside of filmmaking, I’m an Ironman triathlete, beach volleyball player, avid traveler, and lifelong lover of storytelling.
